Our Farm

Nestled among the rolling hills and farmland of Panton, Vermont, our circa 1772 home has an interesting historical past and was one of the original homesteads in our town founded in 1761.  Our farm overlooks the breathtaking Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains, providing us with stunning daily views and glorious sunsets.

When we purchased our farm, we knew it was in need of complete restoration.  The house had been vacant for over twenty years, had no running water, and was home to a fox and her adorable kits. The barn was in need of major repair and the old pasture land was completely overgrown.  But having a deep appreciation for historic homes, we saw potential in the property.

We specialize in creating goat milk lotions and soap, using the rich and creamy milk from beloved goats.

Our main ingredients come straight from our farm or neighboring farms, ensuring that we use only the freshest and highest quality materials.  We also make yarn and felted items from the fiber of our llamas, sheep, angora rabbits and alpacas. By utilizing the natural resources available to us, we ensure our farm remains sustainable for generations to come.

But Wiggly Goat Farm is not just a place where we produce products. It’s a place where we can truly connect with our family, neighbors, farm animals, and nature and proudly be part of the rich history of farming in our area. We are grateful to be able to call this place home.

About Us

Hello. We are Krista & Chris Diego.

Our story is one of adventure, hard work, and the love of home and family. We live on a small Vermont farm that we share with our dogs, goats, alpacas, sheep, chickens, rabbits and llamas. Since our animals are an integral part of our family, we take great care in providing them with a comfortable, happy life.

After raising three wonderful sons and spending long careers in the resort business, we made the decision to move back to Chris’ Vermont roots to pursue other passions, be closer to our kids, and to enjoy the simple pleasures of rural life. It was the best decision we ever made.

Chris and I spend each day doing what we love.  Besides spending time with our family, Chris works on restoring our property and entertaining the dogs, while I tend to the barn animals, create goat milk & fiber-based products, garden, make pottery, and as a life coach specializing in home-life harmony, help other women find peace, joy and balance in their own lives.
