Shelburne Farmers Market

I love being a vendor at the Shelburne Farmers Market in Shelburne, Vermont. For me, taking my wares to market each week is fun, and invaluable to growing my business. I’m there each Saturday, rain or shine, May 27 through October 14.  (Yes, that’s 21 Saturdays in a row!)

This particular market is often referred as a “small business incubator”, and I would totally agree. We are a group of folks that are passionate about what we do and generous about helping others succeed. We lend a hand when setting up, cover each other’s bathroom breaks, chit-chat and share business ideas, and give/barter at the end of the day.  I’ve enjoyed delicious donuts, pretzels, cheese and flowers in exchange for eggs, soap, lotion or just the lending of my supplies!

And as a life coach, I love to remind myself that “not every visitor pays me with money”; yes, many come to make a purchase, but others “pay me” with their enthusiasm, suggestions, opinions, or just a great story.  Each person I meet helps me grow Wiggly Goat Farm.

Hugs,

Krista

    Krista,

I purchased one ball of handprinted bulky yarn in blue/green at the Shelburne Farmers Market two weeks ago. I thought 1 ball would be enough to crochet a hat but I was mistaken. Do you have another blue/green ball in stock? I don’t have your email address thus unable to send a photo of the yarn colors. Wendy
